Services are provided for problems ranging from simple to the more complex mental health issues. Outpatient Services include diagnosis and a broad range of treatment.
Individual, group, and family therapy is available based on the needs of the client/family. Evaluation by a child psychiatrist with ongoing medication management provided by a pediatrician or psychiatrist is also available.
The Community Support Program is an adult program designed to provide a continuum of service that will enable seriously mentally ill consumers to develop support systems and skill necessary to function adequately in the least restrictive environment possible.
The goal of substance treatment services is to assist individuals to achieve recovery and maintain a substance free life. We help individuals develop a treatment plan that can offer inpatient services or outpatient individual and group services including family counseling.
Mid-South Health Systems is a Comprehensive Private, Non-Profit Community Mental Health Center. Mid-South Health Systems provides a full range of psychiatric and educational services to residents in the 20 county catchment area of Clay, Craighead, Crittenden, Cross, Fulton, Greene, Independence, Izzard, Jackson, Lawrence, Lee, Mississippi, Monroe, Phillips, Poinsett, Randolph Sharp, St.Francis, White and Woodruff counties.
Each Mid-South Health Systems facility has a professional and support staff consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed counselors, social workers, community intervention specilaists, RN’s and LPN’s.
